Tortoni is a great place for a relaxed meal or just a few drinks with friends. Owned and run by the Gautier family Toroni is an Eymet institution. Always warmly welcomed by the friendly and super-efficient Tortoni team, this pub/bar/restaurant is rightly hugely popular with locals and visitors alike. .A great range of beers and wines are offered together with a varied and well-priced menu. The burgers are GREAT and the steaks superior to those served in some of the more established and pricey restaurants in town. If you are hungry be warned... The portions are huge! Dix in St.Alvere
Fans of Channel 4's A New Life In the Sun will find themselves in a familar setting at Dix in St. Alvere, a 45 minute drive from Maison Belmont. Dix is owned by an Anglo/French couple with Raphaël as Chef and his wife Gemma in charge of all front-of-house activities. Delicious fresh seasonal food make this restaurant one of our favourites. Fans of the TV show will remember Raphaël making all his own tables and Gemma's unforgettable quote: "When exactly is it we are able to open the champagne?"
