Located in the south of Dordogne on the border with Lot et Garonne, historic Eymet was founded in 1270 and preserves all of the features of a traditional bastide. Narrow streets surround the magnificent central square which has hardly changed in centuries.

The weekly market takes place every Thursday morning as well as night markets on Tuesday evenings in the summer months attracting visitors from near and far.

Located around Place Gambetta restaurants, shops and cafes provide a bustling atmosphere and an always vibrant town centre.

In summer months, there are also many food, wine and other festivals which draw many visitors to the town.

We are very fortunate to have a great selection of bars and restaurants right here in Eymet, to cater for all appetites and budgets, all within a few minutes walk from Maison Belmont
